The equipment was easy enough to put together- you have to play a bit with the pullies to have them sit properly but this could be normal for cable machines. Overall the cables feel very heavy compared to commercial gyms that I have used- but I can adjust my workouts accordingly. I have had to grease up the polls a couple times because the cable seem to get stuck, or the weight plates get stuck as I am exercising. Greasing up the pole seem to do the trick, though. Overall I am very satisfied with the equipment and I have purchased a number of attachments to have more variety. It’s holding up great.

The heavier feel you mentioned is due to the 1:1 pulley ratio on this machine. Most commercial gym cable machines use a 2:1 ratio, which means you're only lifting half of the labeled weight. With a 1:1 ratio, you’re lifting the full weight shown on the stack—so it’s normal for it to feel heavier, and it actually gives you more resistance and better overall value, especially if you're looking to progress without maxing out the stack too quickly.

I bought this trainer to work out from home instead of the gym. This trainer is truly impressive, I've been using it for 5 months now, and it's working perfectly, very smooth motion, great weight stack, the 1:1 ratio really allows me to push heavy weights and I'm not hitting range of motion limitations. I installed it in my basement, the height is just perfect, I've still got room to do full pull-ups, and it looks really great, especially the red anodized pulleys which look awesome.
I'm generally pretty picky about cable machines, often cussing in gyms because of limited range of motion on 1:1 machines or the pull tension being higher than the release tension which kind of limits negatives; this functional trainer has no such limitations, so this is impressive.
I'm not a super fan of the pull up bar arrangements, I prefer to fine-tune hand distances when doing pull-ups, so the cross bars sometimes get in the way, but I usually find a way to get the exact grip I want by grappling the bar uncentered, which looks a bit weird, but actually works well.
Doing flys are surprisingly pretty good for a single function machine, so I don't really miss the full width cable machines in gyms.
As other commented, the square nylon sleeves inside the height adjustment pulley assembly regularly slip out, it's not a issue for me, but at one point I'm probably going just to glue them so they don't slip off.

Great for the price, iv'e spent last decade in the gym. I now decided to build my home gym and this cable tower does the job like no other with the pulley system ratio 1:1. Of course it's not commercial grade but close enough! So far i really enjoy it,

The equipment is good, though we did have to make slight modifications because we couldn't adjust it properly. I'm sure the cable will stretch, but for now, we've got an extra metal bit on each side to make the top weight sit right. WARNING: curbside delivery means they will drop it in front of your house, in our case- in the road. We had to cart 600 lbs of equipment off the road and into our place.
