AmStaff Fitness DF2104 Functional Trainer

I bought this trainer to work out from home instead of the gym. This trainer is truly impressive, I've been using it for 5 months now, and it's working perfectly, very smooth motion, great weight stack, the 1:1 ratio really allows me to push heavy weights and I'm not hitting range of motion limitations. I installed it in my basement, the height is just perfect, I've still got room to do full pull-ups, and it looks really great, especially the red anodized pulleys which look awesome.

I'm generally pretty picky about cable machines, often cussing in gyms because of limited range of motion on 1:1 machines or the pull tension being higher than the release tension which kind of limits negatives; this functional trainer has no such limitations, so this is impressive.

I'm not a super fan of the pull up bar arrangements, I prefer to fine-tune hand distances when doing pull-ups, so the cross bars sometimes get in the way, but I usually find a way to get the exact grip I want by grappling the bar uncentered, which looks a bit weird, but actually works well.

Doing flys are surprisingly pretty good for a single function machine, so I don't really miss the full width cable machines in gyms.

As other commented, the square nylon sleeves inside the height adjustment pulley assembly regularly slip out, it's not a issue for me, but at one point I'm probably going just to glue them so they don't slip off.
